Setup WordPress

  1. Download WordPress:
  2. Create a Database:
    • Log in to your hosting control panel.
    • Find the MySQL Databases section.
    • Create a new database and a user with full permissions.
  3. Install WordPress:
    • Extract the downloaded WordPress ZIP file.
    • Place the WordPress files in the appropriate directory:
      • Upload the files to your server’s root directory using an FTP client like FileZilla.
    • Go to http://yourdomain.com/ .
  4. Configure WordPress:
    • When you access the directory, WordPress will prompt you to create a configuration file. Click “Create a Configuration File.”
    • Enter your database details:
  5. Complete the Installation:
    • Enter your site details
      • Site Title
      • Username
      • Password
      • Your Email
  6. Login to WordPress:
    • Once installed, log in using the credentials you set up.
    • Access your WordPress dashboard via `http://yourdomain.com/wp-admin/`.
  7. Configure Your WordPress Site:
    • Install Plugins: Go to Plugins > Add New and install any necessary plugins.
      • Classic Editor
      • All In One WP Security
      • Advanced Custom Fields
      • W3 Total Cache
      • Disable Gutenberg
